Description:

E. Howard & Company, Boston, Number 39 wall regulator, circa 1875. Victorian walnut case with carved Eastlake crest and drop in wonderful old surface. Movement stamped E. Howard / Boston and the 12.5 inch dial with original surface. Weight and pendulum original, pendulum suspension spring damaged. Weight pan and dial mat are missing, pendulum tie down is retained. Central screw for movement tie down absent, brass tabs now secure movement. Scattered restoration to black paint on reverse panel. Some traces of house paint along perimeter of case and repair and minor chips to cresting. Height 60 in, width 19.75 in, depth 6 in.
