Lot of 4 Boston 18th Century Documents. Including a payment to John Curtis from the Town of Roxbury by order of William Gridley dated January 12th 1784 and signed by both, a payment to John Marston a Tavern owner by the Selectman of Boston for 5 Bowls of Punch purchased on May 28th 1780 dated December 24th 1785, a payment by the Town of Roxbury to Nathaniel Sparhawk for Corn, Rye, and Indian Corn by order of Thomas Clarke dated February 20th 1786, and a document from the Town of Boston paying James Thompson for collecting taxes for the town and state dated January 27th 1786. Note: most of these people named have a history with Boston during the American Revolution.
