Revolutionary War 1775 Roxbury Document for services. This document for payment to Jeremiah Parker. He billed the Town of Roxbury Massachusetts on March 3rd 1775 4 days to attend the County Convention in the year of 1774. These conventions were held so all counties would have the same plan if the occupying British Forces had decided to assault the inhabitants of each county. It was at this time that British spies were sent out to Worcester County to assist in executing a plan to seize the Arms and Weapons stored there, hat did not happen and they marched on to Concord and Lexington that next month in April 1775. Members of the Committee of Safety and Correspondence were always present at these conventions. Signed by John Parker. Measures 7-1/2" x 3" with a 1" seam separation at bottom middle.
