Description:

WWI U.S. Model 1913 Cavalry Saber with Scabbard Dated 1918. These are also known as the Patton Sword, this one being stamped "L F &C 1918" with a flaming bomb indicating it was made by Landers Fray & Clark in Connecticut and also stamped "US" on opposite side ricasso. Blade measures 35-1/2" and overall sword length is 42" Condition: Blade is in outstanding shape with a little 1/2" cleaning scrub mark to edge and very light gray oxidation peppering on one side near ricasso. Grip is complete without damage and hilt has a few small dings with some scuffing to paint. Scabbard is complete having no damage but with some use wear.
