1: Signed Nathan Moll Match style flintlock rifle. Overall 57-1/2” .50 Cal. 42” Heavy octagon 8 groove BBL. with a pointed tang top flat stamped “N MOLL” in a square cartouche near rear sight. The 5-1/4”x1” stamped "Joseph Golcher" engraved lock has a roller frizzen spring and retains all the original flint components. Most of these style rifles were converted to percussion. A great example of a later Pennsylvania flintlock period match rifle with original patch still in the box. Dunn collection notes have this rifle from the "Shiff" collection in New Hampshire from the 1930s of items listed. Condition: Broken Ram Rod 3-3/4” at muzzle tip and several small 1” cracks at forestock. Rest of rifle is in untouched good condition.

2: Signed Rifle 53-3/4" overall .36 Cal. 38-3/4" eight groove BBL. with engraved "SB" initials on top BBL flat with a pointed breech tang. "H. Duell Warranted" 4-1/2"x1" stamped lock with a roller frizzen, having engraving near tang and an oval cartouche center of lock. Blank Sliver escutcheon plate behind BBL tang. Brass half moon on R Butt Stock.  Dunn collection lists this rifle in the 1930s as made by Samuel Boone and is considered an important rifle to his collection. Condition: Wood chip loss of stock at front of lock with a crack and small chips of wood loss around lock plate. 1" broken tip of Ram Rod. Old masking tape to underside of stock.

3: Unsigned Rifle 59-1/4" overall .47 Cal. 43-1/2" BBL. smooth bore octagon to round with spear pointed tang. Unmarked French style 5"x7/8" lock. Scrolling with some remnants of Brass inlay throughout Butt Stock. Condition: Yellow varnish over complete gun. Wood chip and sliver loss along BBL channel with damage to nose cone area. Missing nose cone and 1st BBL pin at forestock with bruising and light scratches on stock. Patch Box missing lock pin and door is slightly bent.

4: Signed David Glassbrener Flintlock rifle. 51-5/8" overall with a 36-1/4" octagon .44 Cal. eight groove BBL engraved "D Glassbrener" with scrolling on top flat and  a long point breech tang. Lock is 4-1/2"x7/8" stamped "PHILADELPHIA" with a roller frizzen, a screw secured pan fence and an engraved bird in the grass behind hammer. Side plate is engraved "No. 126" A nice example of a Harrisburg PA. and Glassbreners work. Dunn collection notes have this rifle in the collection prior to 1941. Condition: Patch box door needs an adjustment in order to stay closed. Wood bruising and scrapes. Hair line crack from nose cone to 1st thimble.

5: Unsigned smooth bore 60" overall .48 Cal. 44-1/2" BBL. with a pointed tang. 5"x1" "RUSSOM & CO." stamped lock with engraving. Condition: Pitting at BBL breech. Wood crack from nose cone to 1st thimble and small 1" crack front of lock plate. 1" broken tip of Ram Rod. Old masking tape to underside of stock.

6: J.M. Caswell converted percussion Rifle 52” overall .54 Cal. 36-3/4” smooth BBL. with a round point tang signed “J.M. CASWELL. LANSINGBURGH” Unmarked 4-3/8” x7/8” engraved lock. Understock release patch box. A good example of his work. Condition: Possible 1/2" wood repair at patch box release button, period crack in Ramrod channel at top thimble to nose cone, and missing Ram Rod.

7: Colonial era Club Butt Fowler. 78-3/4" overall .76 Cal. 63-1/2" octagon to round with baluster ring, smooth bore BBL. 6-3/4"x1-1/4" Banana lock with a brideless pan. Sheet brass Butt Plate with a one step pointed finial. Furniture appears to be Dutch and English style. "IV" on trigger guard. Raised carving around BBL tang. Retains original Ram Rod with worm. Condition: Yellowed varnish. Wood loss along BBL channel both sides full length, forestock broken off at 1st BBL pin, and other pins missing. Wood loss and repair around lock plate. Butt Plate worn and finial broken off at rear trigger guard.

8: Signed "JR" double barrel over under rifle. 48-3/4" overall. Two .38 Cal. eight groove 31-7/8" BBLs. with a 4" spear point engraved tang. 4-3/8" double side mule ear back action lock with border engraving and the initials "JR" engraved on the plate as well. Ram Rods appear to be original. Condition: Nice original condition with lightwood bruises and light scratches on stock.

9: Childs 2 band Enfield style military musket identified to Theo Trotter. A Civil War era musket, overall 44-1/4" .46 Cal. round 30" BBL and a 4-3/8"x7/8" unmarked lock. In the style of the "LITTLE ENFIELD" child marked muskets but this one is not stamped with the Little Enfield name. A scarce musket to be found that is I'd. Signed on rear tang of trigger guard "Theo Trotter" no other marks or stamps on musket. Condition: Broken hammer screw and wood bruising throughout from use.

10: Antique Powder Horn I'd with the engraving of "Thomas Robertson 1801" also a tree of life and two Tulip plants. This 10" horn was converted to a vessel during the period by adding a wood painted spout plug and removing the Butt Plug also adding a rope. Condition: Light top layer scaling with chipping at plug end. Dirt and grime covered.

11: Period 8" reused Powder Horn. This horn is identified by two different people during use. "R...N. PARMILEE" is engraved around the top center of horn and also what appears to read "DANIEL BRETTS" that fades away at the bottom plug which was replaced during use. Decorated with a Mermaid holding a Candelabra and a Book, next to a Musket, an Owl, two full Sail Ships, four Horses, a Flower, and Triangle patterns around the center of horn. Condition: Horn was repluged during the period due to damaged end and small chips on baluster ring. Cracks from spout end down longest being 2-1/2".

12: Signed “H. Albright” late 18th century Pennsylvania fowler. 60” overall .58 Cal. 44” octagon to round smooth bore BBL. signed on top flat “H. Albright” in script with a tombstone tang and relief wood carving around tang. 4-3/4”x “T. KETLAND & Co.” flat plate lock with engraving. Condition: The fore stock has a period replacement 18” from the muzzle at the second thimble. Wrist plate escutcheon is missing.

13: Civil War Parkers Snow & CO. Meriden Conn. musket dated 1863, having a later 1867 Roberts breech load conversion. Also retaining a Baker and McKenney sling. Several small inspector letters and number stamps on the stock. Dunn collection notes has this rifle bought in 1937. Condition: Has stock bruising from use and a deep uncleaned patina throughout the metal. A nice untouched scarce conversion musket.

14: Signed "J LUTZ" and "B BRADLEY" Rifle 60" overall .36 Cal. 43-1/4" BBL. six groove octagon with wide pointed tang. Unmarked 4-1/5"x1" lock with a roller frizzen and engraving. Silver inlayed oval Eagle shield on L Butt stock with two brass loops below. Dunn collection lists this rifle prior to 1941. Condition: Pitting at breech and on Hammer. Ram Rod tip broken off 4". Wood has hairline crack forward of trigger guard, at nose cone, at BBL tang, and top of side plate screw.

15: Finely engraved furniture on this unsigned Western Penn style rifle. Maker unknown but with little research could be figured out. 51-1/8" overall .30 Cal 35-3/4" octagon eight groove BBL. with a tombstone tang. "Robbins" stamped 4-1/4"x7/8" lock with engraving on plate. The Keyhole style patch box is engraved through out as is the side plate and toe plate. A brass Federal Eagle and a Stag Deer are inlayed on the R Butt stock with a double step cheek rest. A Silver plate Hunting Dog is inlayed above the patch box. Condition: An early 1" wood repair or filler behind lock plate tang, hairline crack at 1st BBL pin L side at muzzle, and a few small bruises in the wood on stock.

16: Kentucky Marked Triplett & Scott Civil War Era Repeating carbine. Ser# 1143 and stamped “KENTUCKY” on left side breech flat. Several small inspector letter stamps on the stock. A nice example of these rifles. Condition: Wood brushing, small cracks, and chips from use. No visible repairs or damage.

17: Confederate Civil War - P53 Pattern Enfield Tower Musket with a Confederate Anchor ”S” inspection stamp at end of butt tang and behind the trigger guard. Stamped “Tower 1863” on the lock with a Birmingham Small Arms Trade cartouche at rear of Butt stock, right side. Likely one of the blockade muskets that came from Bermuda to the port of Wilmington, North Carolina. Wilmington was the last major Confederate port still operating that late in the war. Condition: Overall original untouched with factory finish. Missing the Ram Rod, swivels, and what appears to have been an inlayed Confederate Coin that was applied in the Butt stock near the Birmingham stamp by the carrier.

18: Allen & Thurber Single Shot Side Hammer Muzzleloader. 43-7/8” overall with a .32 Cal. 28-1/8” BBL. Stamped “Allen & Thurber Worcester Cast Steel” on left side BBL flat. Condition: Missing Ram Rod and Hammer screw was replaced with a nut during the period. A light pitted patina throughout.

19: Unsigned Rifle 60-1/4" overall .56 Cal. 45-1/4" BBL. octagon seven deep groove rifle with pointed tang. "LONDON WARRANTED" 4-1/2"x7/8" lock with a roller Frizzen and engraving. No patch box and an extra long period Ram Rod. Condition: Wood chip loss at all BBL pins. Wood bruising and light scratches on stock and period wood loss at BBL tang L side. Crack forward heel plate at Butt.

20: Childs size smooth bore fowler. 43” overall .36 Cal. 30-5/16” BBL. with a tomb stone tang. 4-1/2” x 7/8” “LONDON WARRENTED” lock that has been reconverted from percussion. Full stock Tiger maple stock with a Pewter Inlayed Powder Horn on the R side butt plate. Neat fowler likely made by the child who carried it. Dunn collection notes lists this "Boys Kentucky" in the 1930s notes. Condition: Wood loss along both sides of the BBL channel and wood worm holes in butt stock.
