Signed Nathan Moll Match style flintlock rifle. Overall 57-1/2” .50 Cal. 42” Heavy octagon 8 groove BBL. with a pointed tang top flat stamped “N MOLL” in a square cartouche near rear sight. The 5-1/4”x1” stamped "Joseph Golcher" engraved lock has a roller frizzen spring and retains all the original flint components. Most of these style rifles were converted to percussion. A great example of a later Pennsylvania flintlock period match rifle with original patch still in the box. Dunn collection notes have this rifle from the "Shiff" collection in New Hampshire from the 1930s of items listed. Condition: Broken Ram Rod 3-3/4” at muzzle tip and several small 1” cracks at forestock. Rest of rifle is in untouched good condition.
